so started off tuesday with metting with matt and headed out to Bondi beach!! the sun was out and the weather lovely. it was like the hottest day ever in the summer you would have; the sun was beautiful and wind, just as refreshing. enjoying the sun we just hung out watching the waves go so well, and i was wishing that i could surf and be out on the water. lamely i didnt even go into the water as i could see that it was cold and used the whole i dont have a spare set of clothes thing, ops. well, i am going to spend lots of time in the water when heading down the east coast.
back on the bus into city (trying to sound local, but dont think its working) we went shopping (its weird saying we, as nice to have some1 to do things with and to make the decisions for me, hehe) and i was admiring the sales technique of the lady in the shop with lots of glasses as we looked at fancy (ish and very fancy) sun glasses; if only they were for me but hey, i was in the shop. the lady asked how long we had been there and matt replied that he only arrived that day, she then turned to me and asked how long i've been living here :D yea baby that made my day.
t'was afternoon so we headed to the pub and out to dinner before heading to pick up my stuff and on to the place of sleep this time called an hotel rather than an carriage, sorry i wimp out of the picture thing but see if there is one online (http://203.19.79.55/yha_photos//platform2_may05.jpg?large). so there you are! and this morning to breakfast!! so so much food. (sorry but was real cooked food compared to ceral and milk i've been buying)
onto the airport and onto flight 3 in less than a week, was bumppy decent but smooth landing. and arrived at alice springs. there is nothing here i've seen but its ok, its only an stopping place off to Uluru rock :) so its HOT! the temp is 37 and poss bit warmer tomorrow. but not going to complain as its just lovely (if drinking water often). so being picked up tomorrow morning at 6 to start the 3day tour to experience lots of totally awesome things. just cant wait now, hearing great things already.
aus is just amazing and its so weird seeing red dusty places around instead of grass that was in UK and Sydney. but thats the experience of where we are. sorry that wasnt the same time updated but was busy this morn and btw dont expect an post till the weekend now!
