sunday was an 7 drive with 3 stops (not long, 2 loo and 1 food) from Inver to Christchurch. traveling up the coast and due to this i have now realised that i have missed seeing Mt Cook, mmm. so i feel like a gd kiwi now by not seeing some of the amazing parts of the country i love in.
monday was drive with Kiwi to Kaikoura, then wait for 4 1/2 hrs and bus to Picton. with an 3hr wait for the ferry to Wellington. and 6hr wait for the kiwi bus. i know that it should have been sleep but by the time arrived into wellington and things it was 2am and the bus was at 8 so i could just sleep on that so i listened to music all night and read; while sat on a bench in the capital city of New Zealand. in the morn
on my walk to the bus i remembered why i like wellington so much with the cool things around and i even sat on my fav bridge. (see if you know it when ur there guys)
tuesday i headed up to Taupo on the kiwi bus and stayed with family friends. mmm, the bed was so great to lie in and i totally enjoyed not sharing an room :D sadly i couldnt use my voucher for my skydive there so that was annoying.
wednesday saw me waiting for the kiwi bus again and almost hr late it pick me up after the bus broke down and they picked up a new one to use. taking me all the way to rotorua for my appointment with the sky. i sat there and phoned to check what was going on to find out that it was cancelled due to the wind. i then booked a bus to Karapiro and amussed myself with how rotorua hasnt changed much since i was last there. phone again and wind not improving so skydive put off another day. and bk to home; well thats how t felt as soon i saw the top part of the lake but only to realise that i wasnt going home but just mearly passing through and visiting them.
so thursday and i woke after i woke naturally, how bliss. then chatting with my auntie decided to phone and see about skydiving bk in rotorua and then i was off within 15mins and driving bk to the clear skied rotorua (with winds picking up in the afternoon). i waited and the best thing happened!! i actually jumped, well i felt the forward motion as the instructor jumped us out of the plane and we rolled around on our way down. lol. it was just an indescribable experience but totally awesome christmas pressy :D
out in the eve into Hamilton, something that i hadnt actually done even living so close for so long.
and friday brought me to saying goodbye to cambridge and my new home. that was a very odd feeling! but i am now up in auckland and just chilling out before my next 3 days of planes.
more to come hopefully on sun eve!! but Happy Birthday Old Man, sorry i would have txt but i have no credit on my phone because no1 bk home has topped it up. lol, hope u have an gd day tho and not too chilly for ya
